March BoxyCharm

Back in November I started a year subscription to BoxyCharm. If you don’t know what this subscription service is, it’s a monthly beauty box filled with 4-5 FULL and deluxe sized products but you mostly receive full sized products. The box is $21 a month but the products you receive inside is usually always worth over $100 so the monthly price is definitely reasonable. I’ve really been enjoying all of the products I have received so far. It gives you a chance to try out new products and brands you may never heard of before! Each month is a different theme and this months is “Creepy Cute.” So let’s get into this months box.

Naked Cosmetics Urban Rustic Palette $39.99

I will just start by saying that this product alone is already over what the cost of the box itself is which is crazy awesome! I’ve never heard of this brand before and I am so glad they included this. The shadows are so buttery soft and pigmented and blend out so well without losing it’s pigment. I like that they added some colored eyeshadows because it goes with the theme as well as gives me a chance to play with some color.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer deluxe size $16

Now sometimes you do receive deluxe sized sample products in your boxes, but this was the first one I have gotten and it’s still a good amount of product. I mean who really goes through a primer quickly anyways.  I was really excited to receive this because I never tried this primer before surprisingly. I know some people don’t like the feeling of silicone based primers, but I have actually been enjoying it the few times I’ve used it so far. It makes a smooth base for my makeup and being a combination skinned girl this works really nicely.

Crown Brush Deluxe Fan Brush SS023 $18.99

I’ve never seen or had a fan brush this big and fluffy. I mean I am sure there’s bigger but I was quite surprised by it. I’ve received a crown brush in a past box and I use it almost daily. This brush is multitasking because you can use it to highlight a bigger area on your face or you can use it my favorite way and bronze up the skin with it. It’s the perfect size and shape to fit in the contours of your cheeks and it’s super soft so it blends out product nicely.

RealHer Matte Liquid Lipstick $15.00

Another brand that I have never heard of before. It’s a cruelty free brand and has a great meaning behind it. 20% of proceeds from your RealHer purchases goes to the AAUW which is a non-profit that advances equity for women and girls through scholarship programs, leadership, advocacy, education, and research which I think is amazing. All of the lipsticks and lip liners have empowering names. My lipstick I received is called “I Will Succeed.” It’s a peachy nude shade. These are very pigmented and not drying on the lips. They are a little sticky at first, but once it dries down it’s a beautiful shade and has great lasting power.

RealHer Lip Liner $12.50

To go with the liquid lipstick was a lip liner. Mine didn’t match but that’s okay, I just see it as more lip options! I got the shade “I Am Precious” and it is a pinky mauve shade, it’s really flattering. These lip liners are so creamy and go on effortlessly and don’t budge. I definitely want to pick up more shades to support this brand.

Total of the box: $102.48

As you can see you definitely get your money’s worth for such great products. If you’d like to join and become a Charmer you can use my referral link if you’d like! You totally don’t have to, this is not sponsored or anything it just earns me charm points. This whole post was written out of me completely enjoying this subscription box.

Have a lovely evening
