ColourPop Haul and Mini Review!

As I make more makeup related posts on my blog you will come to find out that I love using ColourPop Products. There were recently some new releases from the brand so I wanted to try out a few to let you know what I think!

haul-4

Alexis Ren x ColourPop Deja Vu Blotted Lip: I was really intrigued to try this because it’s supposed to be more of a natural lip product that can be built up. I was pleasantly surprised by this because with one swipe it gave the my lips but better look but could also be built up to a nice color. It’s very comfortable and creamy with a semi-matte finish and does transfer. The only complaint I have is the packaging because the product was broken off when I opened it for the first time so I have to be careful.

Kathleen Lights x ColourPop Aquarius: I already knew I would like this because the Ultra Satin Lip formula is my favorite from them all. Super creamy to apply, comfortable and lasts a while before having to reapply. I love the Aquarius lip liner so I knew I had to get it in the Satin formula. If you didn’t know, ColourPop came out with a Glossy, Satin, and a Matte lip formula of the Aquarius lippie stix color. Its a beautiful nude that can suite anyone even fair skin tones like myself!

Pressed Power – Paper Tiger: I love the super shock shadows so when I saw they were finally releasing shadow pans I was super excited. I only got one just to test out the formula. I’ve been wanting a mustard shade for a while so I knew that was the color I would go with. These are very soft and very pigmented. This is a matte and it blends out like a dream. I definitely will need to get more of the pressed shadows!

Creme Gel Liner – Prance: Now I had a bit of trouble with this product. The formula is great it glides on like a dream and the color payoff is perfect. I think I may have gotten a dud though because the tip of the product looked like half of it broke off and only about an inch of product was in there which I could be wrong, but thought it would have more. It was also very hard to twist the product up. I’ve seen many reviews on this product so I know the packaging is usually fine so that’s why I think that I got a dud, but nonetheless the product was exactly what I wanted. I will have to get more to see if the packaging turns out the same way.

Overall I was very happy with this order and will use all of the products happily. I will of course order more from ColourPop in the future because they are one of my favorite affordable brands!
